Gordon has worked in Higher Education for over 20 years in a variety of roles, including Financial Aid, Diversity and Inclusion, Multicultural Activities and Student Life, the COCC Coordinator Student Activities and Events, and the COCC Afrocentric Studies club advisor. He was actively engaged in presenting and lecturing on diversity and inclusion programs and projects within the Central Oregon Community as well as restorative justice and equity workshops and youth summits.

He is currently the Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and the High Desert Educational Service District. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Oregon University.
