Eduardo was born and raised in Bend Oregon and grew up with a camera in hand. As he grew older, he realized how lucky he was being born in a place that has access to so many different outdoor activities. Rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, mountain climbing, skiing, snowboarding, the list goes on. The only thing lacking was diversity in these sports and activities. He was often the only Mexican or person of color on my adventures and that really made him feel alone. The benefits of the outdoors are too great to be only benefited by one group of people. By using his experience, he wants to help diversify the outdoors by creating inspiration through his photography and through his work at Vamonos Outside. To show people of color that they too can pursue and enjoy the wonders of the outdoors.
